The Legal Awareness Cell of Mahatma College of Education conducted an Anti-Drug Campaign: Awareness Class on 20 November 2025 at the college Seminar Hall. The session commenced at 9.30 AM with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. XXX.

The programme was presided over by the Principal, who highlighted the importance of creating awareness about drug abuse and the legal implications associated with such issues within educational institutions.
The resource talk was delivered by Mr. Yyyyyy, Practicing Lawyer, who provided an insightful and informative session. His talk focused on key legal dimensions related to student welfare, including:
- Anti-Ragging: Importance and Need
- Legal Filing of Cases related to Ragging
- Administrative Procedures involved in Ragging Cases
The session was followed by an interactive Q&A segment, moderated by Mrs. Zzzzz, a student representative, allowing participants to clarify doubts and engage with the resource person.
As a gesture of gratitude, a memento was presented to the resource person by the Principal. The programme concluded with closing remarks by the Staff Secretary, marking the end of a meaningful and awareness-rich session.
