Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar, in collaboration with IQAC, successfully organized ‘The Food Fest’ on 9th March 2026. The program commenced at 11:30 a.m. The event was a vibrant celebration of culinary culture, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a festive atmosphere. The programme was organized by the Nature Club and College Union of the institution and aimed at promoting cultural exchange, teamwork, and creativity among students through the medium of food.The event encourages students to showcase their culinary skills and cultural heritage. It promotes teamwork, creativity, and a sense of community among students. It provides a platform for cultural exchange through food. It fosters a spirit of healthy competition and participation among students.
The Food Fest was formally inaugurated by Shanmukhadas Sir, whose presence added great prestige to the occasion. The Welcome Speech was delivered by Vivek Sir, who warmly greeted all participants, guests, and faculty members. In his address, he highlighted the significance of such events in the holistic development of students and appreciated the efforts of the organising committee in bringing this event to life.The event was jointly organized by the Nature Club and the College Union of Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar. The organizing team worked diligently in the planning and execution of the event, ensuring smooth conduct of all activities. The collaboration between IQAC and the student bodies reflected the institution’s commitment to experiential and co-curricular learning. Collaborative effort by the Nature Club and College Union are leads to Wide variety of food stalls showcasing diverse culinary traditions. Active and enthusiastic participation by students and faculty. The Food Fest was a grand success and was appreciated by all who attended. It provided students with a wonderful opportunity to express their creativity, learn from one another, and celebrate the diversity of food and culture. The event reinforced the college’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals through co-curricular activities. The Nature Club and College Union were highly commended for their exemplary organisation of this memorable event.
