Report on Gender Sensitization Program

A Gender Sensitization Program was organized by Mahatma College of Education Nileshwar in collaboration with IQAC on 11 March 2026 at 10 AM. The program aimed to create awareness among students about gender equality, respect, and the importance of developing a gender-sensitive attitude in society. The chief guest of the program was Esha Kishore, who delivered an informative and inspiring talk on gender sensitivity. She explained the importance of respecting all genders and emphasized the need to eliminate gender discrimination in educational institutions and society. She also discussed common gender stereotypes and encouraged students to promote equality, dignity, and mutual respect. During the session, the speaker interacted with the students and shared real-life examples to help them understand gender issues in everyday life. The program helped students become more aware of gender rights, responsibilities, and the importance of creating an inclusive environment. The program was very informative and meaningful. It helped students develop a better understanding of gender equality and encouraged them to contribute to building a fair and respectful society.
