ASSEMBLY REPORT
On 5th February 2026, the Mahathma college of Education, Nieshwar in collaboration with IQAC, conducted a college Assembly at 9.30 AM in the general hall. The event was organized by the first-year Physical Science students with contributions from Athira, Anjana, Kavya, Adithya, Keerthana, Nima, and Amrutha.
The assembly began with a prayer, followed by the pledge taken for our beloved country. After seeking the blessings of the Almighty, the Thought of the Day was delivered to the audience. The thought was:
“Clinging to revenge ensures that our emotional wounds never heal, turning past pain into a present self-punishment. As future teachers, we must choose to let go and move forward, understanding that true strength lies in healing rather than in harboring bitterness. Time heals all wounds, but revenge only keeps them bleeding.” Next, Keerthana updated the audience with international, national, and local news, including current affairs, sports, weather, and updates related to our district and institution. This was followed by a small activity based on the topic “KALOTHSAVAM – a small quiz competition “ which added an interactive and engaging element to the assembly. Our Principal, Dr. K. S. Das sir, then addressed the audience and spoke about the importance of morning assemblies in building discipline and awareness among students.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and unity.
