The Social Science Club of Mahatma College, Nileshwar, conducted a letter writing competition on 24th March 2026 (Tuesday) at 1:30 p.m. as part of the Martyrs’ Day commemoration, in remembrance of Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar.
The topic of the competition was “What would Bhagat Singh write to present-day India?” Participants were asked to imagine and present a letter from Bhagat Singh addressing contemporary India. Two students from each option participated, and they were allowed to write in either English or Malayalam.
Overall, the programme was conducted successfully and achieved its objective of fostering historical awareness, critical thinking, and creative expression among students. The event served as a meaningful tribute to the martyrs and left a lasting impression on all those who attended.
