Iftar Meet at Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar
The College Union of Mahathma College of Education, Nileshwar organized a special Iftar Meet in the college campus to celebrate the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan. The programme was conducted with the aim of promoting unity, harmony, and cultural understanding among students and staff.
The event began with a warm welcome by the union representatives. The Principal of the college, Dr. Shanmugha Das, delivered the Iftar message, highlighting the values of Ramadan such as compassion, patience, charity, and togetherness. The principal also appreciated the initiative taken by the students to organize the programme and encouraged everyone to respect and celebrate the diversity present in the campus.
The preparations for the Iftar were mainly carried out by the students. They actively participated in arranging the programme and preparing the items for breaking the fast. Students brought and arranged drinks, fruits, and snacks, creating a joyful and cooperative atmosphere. The collective effort of the students made the event lively and meaningful.
At sunset, everyone gathered together to break the fast and share the Iftar meal. The programme helped strengthen the bond between students and teachers and promoted a sense of unity and mutual respect among everyone present.
