National Youth Day Celeberations
The District Electoral Literacy Club co coordinator has given direction to celebrate National Youth day on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (12-01-2025) with a district level elocution competition. As per the direction each college Electoral Literacy club has to send two representing participants to the district level Elocution competition. The college level competition was held on 06-01-2025and First place and second place winners were selected for District level competition. The following students were participated the district level competition.

National Voters’ Day celebrations on 25-01-2025
As part of National Voters’ Day Celebration, the Electoral Literacy Club of Mahatma College of Education organised a special event at the college general hall. The celebrations aimed to arouse the awareness about the role of people in the democratic process and the importance of their voting rights. The event was inaugurated by the speech by Principal Dr. Remya V R in the general assembly. She emphasised the role of voters in the democratic process and shaping the future of our nation. She stressed importance of peoples’ voting rights in forming a democratic government in our country. She underscored the importance of active participation of youths in our democratic process and their engagement as responsible citizens in free and fare elections in the country.
After the regular classes the celebration was concluded in the afternoon at 2.30 pm with quiz competitions for selected students from all option classes. The following students were selected as team members for representing the College at the district level quiz competition on 25th January 2025 at Collectorate conference Hall Kasargod.

3. K Keerthi, Second Semester English Option (Reserve)
As Anagha Gopalan was unable to attend the programme on 25th January 2025 , K Keerthi Second Semester English was deputed as member of the college team for the district level competition.
