ART AND DRAMA WORKSHOP REPORT
Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar, in collaboration with IQAC, organized the Second day of the Art & Drama Workshop on 13th February 2026 (Friday) at the General Hall from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The theme for the day was “Teaching in the Tech Age: ICT for future Educators.” The programme aimed to encourage creativity among B.Ed. trainees and provide practical experience in preparing effective and meaningful learning aids.
The session was led by Dinesh G, Assistant Professor of Zainab Memorial B.Ed. Centre Kasargod. The session began with an introduction to ICT in education and its importance in modern classrooms. The concept of Digital Pedagogy was explained, highlighting how technology can make teaching more interactive, engaging, and learner-centered. Students received hands-on training in tools such as Google Classroom, online quiz creation, PPT and Canva presentation making, video preparation, and use of educational resources like SWAYAM and Google Workspace. Practical guidance on professional email features and digital classroom management was also provided.
Overall, the Second day of the Art & Drama Workshop was a grand success.The workshop was informative and interactive, helping future educators gain confidence in integrating technology into their teaching practice.
