Coaching and Awareness Session on KTET and SET Preparation

On February 20, 2026, the Mahatma College of Education, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a specialized coaching and awareness session for B.Ed. students focused on the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) and State Eligibility Test (SET). The program commenced at 10:00 am and was specifically designed to support students preparing for these crucial professional qualifying examinations. Led by Assistant Professor Sreekuttan M V, the session provided a comprehensive overview of the exam structures, highlighting the core syllabi, weightage of different subjects, and the specific pedagogical standards required to excel in these competitive assessments.

The workshop witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from all eligible students who are slated to appear for the upcoming exams. During the interactive session, Professor Sreekuttan M V shared valuable test-taking strategies, including time management techniques and methods for tackling complex educational psychology questions. Also, he had a revision session on educational psychology and Pedagogy. By fostering a collaborative environment, the IQAC initiative aimed to boost the confidence of the teacher-trainees and ensure they are well-equipped with the necessary analytical tools to succeed. The program concluded with a dedicated Q&A segment, leaving the students better prepared and motivated to pursue their professional teaching certifications.
