FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

As part of Faculty Development Programme the faculties of Mahatma College of Education Nileshwar visited Sum College of Teacher Education Muzhappala on 10/07/2025. The objective of the visit is to understand the various interventions of different faculties in the college and to understand the programmes and activities done by the college for the development of students and college as a whole. We reached the college around 10am. At first we interacted with the Principal Dr. Jayasree C V and made a discussion about the programmes and activities, research initiatives, curriculum planning and implementation,students outcome etc. We also discussed with the management representatives regarding the infrastructural development of the college and funding for the college Then we move around the college to understand the continuous quality improvement made by different faculties across different subjects. We turned in to groups, observed the IQAC room, studio room, subject labs, pedagogical labs of each, sports room, gymnasium, psychological labs etc and interacted with the concerned faculties regarding the functioning of the above. At the end of the programme we made a general discussion with the faculty members and Principal about the upcoming programmes and record maintainenance of these programmes. The visit was concluded with a group photo of two college faculty members. The IQAC Co-ordinator, Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar Dr. Suresan Kokkot expressed vote of thanks for all the college faculties for their co-operation and effort to share their experiences with us.
