On March 4, 2026, the Women Cell of Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar, organized an insightful awareness session on Menstrual Hygiene. The program was conducted in collaboration with Care and Safe to educate students on health, hygiene practices, and breaking the social taboos surrounding menstruation.
The session was led by two expert resource persons from Care and Safe:

The speakers provided comprehensive information on the biological aspects of menstruation and the importance of maintaining proper hygiene to prevent infections. They discussed various menstrual products, their safe disposal, and the significance of a balanced diet during the menstrual cycle. The resource persons addressed common myths and encouraged the participants to prioritize self-care and physical well-being. The event concluded at 4:30 PM with a vote of thanks. The session proved to be highly beneficial, empowering the students with essential knowledge and fostering a more health-conscious environment within the college.
