As part of B.Ed curriculum , it is decided to conduct a study tour for the Second year B.Ed Trainees .The study tour aim to explore the historical and cultural glorious of Agra , Jaipur and Udhaipur and to identify and experience the tourist destinations of North India. The number of participants in this tour programme is 52 including 3 escorting teachers .As a preparation for the tour programme two planning meetings were held and the following sub committees where formed with the participation of students.

Day 1 – 08/12/2025 (Monday)
The much-awaited college tour to Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur began on this day. The journey started from Nileshwar Railway Station by 7.30 pm. The journey officially marked the beginning of seven memorable days filled with learning, friendship, and fun.
Day 2 – 09/12/2025 (Tuesday)
The entire day was spent on the train. Though it was a long journey, we made it lively by playing games, singing songs, sharing food, and engaging in meaningful conversations. The train journey helped in strengthening the bonding and created a joyful atmosphere among all of us.
Day 3 – 10/12/25 (Wednesday )
On the third day of the tour, we reached Agra at around 11:00 a.m. Soon after arriving, we boarded our bus and within an hour we reached our rooms to freshen up. After getting ready, we went out for lunch. Interestingly, the food served had a touch of Kerala style, which made us feel at home. Our first sightseeing destination was the magnificent Agra Fort. The fort stands as a grand symbol of Mughal architecture and history. Built with red sandstone, its massive walls and impressive gateways reflect strength and elegance. As we walked through the courtyards, palaces, and halls, we admired the intricate carvings and beautiful designs. The fort offers a breathtaking view of the Yamuna River and even a distant view of the Taj Mahal. The historical significance and architectural brilliance of Agra Fort left us amazed.
Next, we visited the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The sight of the white marble monument was truly mesmerizing. The Taj Mahal looked stunning under the bright daylight, shining beautifully and reflecting purity and love. The detailed marble inlay work, symmetrical gardens, and the calm surroundings enhanced its charm. It was fascinating to learn that it was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The beauty and serenity of the Taj Mahal created unforgettable memories for all of us.
After completing our visit in Agra, we began our journey towards Jaipur. During the journey, we had our dinner and shared our wonderful experiences of the day. It was a memorable and enriching day filled with history, architectural beauty, and joyful moments.
Day 4 – 11/12/25 (Thursday)
On the fourth day of our tour, we had our breakfast by 9:30 a.m. and then proceeded to visit the magnificent Amber Fort. The fort, built with red sandstone and marble, stands proudly on a hill and reflects the grandeur of Rajput architecture. Its large courtyards, majestic gateways, and beautifully decorated halls captured our attention. The Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) inside the fort was especially breathtaking, with its intricate mirror work that sparkles when light falls on it. From the top of the fort, we enjoyed a stunning view of the surrounding hills and Maotha Lake, making the visit truly memorable.
By evening, we reached the famous Jantar Mantar. This historical astronomical observatory, built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It houses large instruments made of stone that were used to measure time, predict eclipses, and study celestial bodies. The precision and scientific knowledge behind these structures amazed us. It was fascinating to see how ancient astronomers calculated time and planetary movements without modern technology.
Later, we travelled through the beautiful Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City because of its pink-coloured buildings. During our journey, we saw the picturesque Jal Mahal, a stunning palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The sight of the palace standing gracefully in the water during the evening was truly mesmerizing. After that there was a shopping in the local markets of the Pink City, where we explored traditional handicrafts, colourful textiles, and souvenirs. It was an enjoyable experience for everyone.
After completing our visit in Jaipur, we started our journey towards Udaipur and reached there by night . The day was filled with historical exploration, scientific learning, scenic beauty, and delightful shopping experiences.
Day 6 -12/12/25 ( Friday)
Day 7 -13/12/25 ( Saturday)
The return journey to Nileshwar began from Kota Junction railway station early in the morning by the Thiruvananthapuram Central SF Express It was a full day on the train. The journey was calm and reflective. .
Day 7 – 14/12/25 (Sunday)
By 9:00 a.m., the team reached Kasaragod. After a long and memorable journey, it felt comforting to finally be back home. Though the trip had come to an end, the beautiful memories, laughter, and experiences we shared will always remain special in each ones hearts.
