REPORT ON QUIZ COMPETITION

As part of National Mathematics Day, the Mathematics Club of Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar, successfully organized a Quiz Competition on 22 December 2025 at 7.30 PM. The programme was conducted with the objective of enhancing students’ interest in mathematics, improving logical and analytical thinking, and encouraging healthy competition among students. The competition was conducted online through Google Form, ensuring maximum participation and smooth execution.The quiz consisted of 15 questions, covering areas related to basic mathematics, logical reasoning, and numerical aptitude. Each correct answer was awarded one mark, and the participants were instructed to submit the Google Form within 15 minutes. In the case of multiple participants securing the same score, the time of submission was considered as the deciding criterion to select the winner.Students actively participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. All students were invited to participate, and the event received an encouraging response. The quiz was conducted in a systematic and fair manner under the guidance of faculty members.
Based on the evaluation, the winners of the Quiz Competition were announced as follows:
First Prize: Afeesa Parveen, First Year Mathematics
Second Prize: Devika K, First Year Mathematics & Gopika M, Second Year English
The winners were awarded prizes and were appreciated for their excellent performance. The event concluded successfully, fulfilling its academic objectives and making the celebration of National Mathematics Day meaningful and engaging. Overall, the Quiz Competition was informative, competitive, and a great success.
