On 20 th August, Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar inCollaboration with IQAC Celebrated its Onam programme,“Kaahalam 2K26,” with great enthusiasm. The celebrationcommenced with the grand entry of Maveli. At 10:30 a.m., theprogramme was inaugurated by the Principal, marking the beginningof the festive celebrations.The Mega Thiruvathira was conducted as part of the celebration, with students and teachers from the college participating in it. The Malayali Manka competition was also held, in which students and teachers participated and competed in different rounds. The programme continued with cultural performances by the first- year and second-year students. Students presented various
performances as part of the programme. A traditional Onam Sadya was arranged for the students and teachers.
After the Sadya, different games and activities were conducted, with students and teachers taking part in the events.
The programme concluded with Kottikalasham, marking the end of the Onam celebration. Overall, Onam Kaahalam 2K26 was conducted with the participation of students and teachers, covering various Onam-related programmes
and activities.
