The College Union and Fine Arts Inauguration for the academic year 2025–26 of Mahatma College of Education, Nileshwar, was held on 17 October 2025 at 9.30 a.m. in the college auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by Sri. Ambikasuthan Mangad, eminent teacher and writer, in the presence of the Principal, faculty members, and students. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of literary, artistic, and cultural activities in fostering creativity, leadership qualities, and holistic development among prospective teachers. Faculty members and student representatives offered felicitations, marking the commencement of the Union and Fine Arts activities planned for the academic year. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The event motivated student-teachers to actively participate in co-curricular activities, thereby promoting creativity, teamwork, leadership skills, and overall personality development.
