Workshop – “TEACH, ASSESS AND INNOVATE – A Practical Guide to Modern Pedagogy.”
On February 17, 2026, Mahatma College of Education, Nileswar, successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “TEACH, ASSESS AND INNOVATE – A Practical Guide to Modern Pedagogy” for the teachers of Mahatma college of education. The event was held at the College Mini Seminar Hall starting at 11:00 am. Conducted in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Curriculum Planning for Mid-Course Correction Committee, the workshop aimed to equip educators and students with contemporary teaching strategies and innovative assessment techniques essential for today’s evolving educational landscape.
The session was led by the distinguished resource person, Dr. Suresh Kokkot, Assistant Professor in English at Mahatma College of Education. Throughout the day, Dr. Suresh Kokkot provided valuable insights into the integration of modern pedagogical tools and the importance of continuous innovation in the classroom. Also he mentioned the changes in assessment pattern which is discussed in NCF 2023. He also provided the structure and model of new Achievement tests to be conducted in the schools. Participants engaged in discussions regarding practical methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes and refine curriculum delivery. The workshop concluded as a significant step toward academic excellence, fostering a spirit of professional growth and adaptability among the attendees.
